What is it?
EZ Granite Tile is our best alternative to large slabs of granite. These are 25" x 18" granite tiles with a complete bullnose edge that has a 3cm face. The idea is, it looks just like a slab only for the price of tile. The interior depth of the tile is 24" which is the standard depth of a kitchen cabinet. The bullnose overhangs by 1". Being that the EZ Granite Tiles are 18" wide, just 6 tiles will cover a 9ft countertop. What are the Benefits
of EZ Granite Tile?
1. It eliminates the extra grout line you would have between the bullnose and the large granite tile
2. There will be greater color consistency. Being that granite tile is a natural stone, every piece is unique. The fewer individual pieces you have, the more consistency you have in the color tone and color texture of the granite tile
3. It's easier to install. This is especially important for do it yourselfers. Having the tile and bullnose be one piece reduces a leveling point.
How do I Order?
EZ Granite Tile is in stock! See our price granite price sheet. How do I Finish Corners?
For outside corners, you will need to use a Bullnose Edge and Bullnose Cornerjust like you do with our large granite tile. For inside corners, there are a few different ways of doing it. We recommend you mitre cut only the bullnose edge (not the entire tile) at a 45* angle while using the EZ Granite Tile. That will leave you with exactly 24" x 24" which can be covered by four 12" tiles. If we don't have 12" x 12" tiles that match the large tiles well, this surface can be covered with two 18" x 21" tiles.
